Miss Mary Elizabeth Rosciola passed away on Friday, January 11, 2013. Born May 14, 1922 in Norristown, daughter of the late Josephine (Fronteroli) Rosciola and Felix Rosciola. Mary attended public schools in Norristown and graduated with the class of 1940. After graduation, she attended Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA where she earned a B.S. degree in Mathematics and French in 1943. She participated in Glee club and French club. From 1943-1946 she taught Mathematics at Somerville High School in Somerville, NJ, where she also sponsored French club. In 1947, she received her Masters degree in Education from Columbia University in NYC. After that she taught Mathematics at Perkiomen Valley School District (formerly Collegeville – Trappe School District) for 34 years, retiring in 1980. Mary was also a yearbook advisor for many years. Several yearbooks earned the Medalist rating from Columbia University Scholastic Press Association in New York City. Mary was a member of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society, Beta Mu (PA). For 40 year, Mary resided in Lower Providence Township and 4 years in assisted living. Mary was a member of St. Helena’s Church in Center Square, PA. Friends are invited to the visitation from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. Thursday, January 17, 2013 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. at St. Helena RC Church, 1489 DeKalb St., Blue Bell, Pa. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. Funeral Mass 10:30 A.M. Thursday, January 17, 2013 At St. Helena RC Church Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery
