Mary J. Moles Santangelo, 94, passed away peacefully on October 31 with her family by her side. She was the devoted mother of sons Anthony, Frank, Rick, and daughter Lyn. Mary was the beloved MomMom to 11 grandchildren, and the adored G-Mom to 19 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her dear and loving siblings Anthony Moles, Palma Panichello, and Marie DiDomizio. Predeceased were her loving husband of 72 years, Joseph, and brothers Frank (killed in WW2), George, Harry, Charles, and Lawrence. A former licensed real estate broker, she returned to school graduating from Gwynedd Mercy College with a degree in elementary education and taught for many years at St. Rose of Lima in North Wales and Norwood Academy in Philadelphia. Mary served as a Eucharistic Minister and CCD teacher at St. Isaac Jogues Church in Valley Forge prior to moving to Shannondell and joining St. Teresa of Avila. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Salvation Army Bed and Bread Club, a charity Mary held dear. https://salvationarmynca.org/ways-you-can-help/bed-bread-club/ There will be a joint memorial for both Mary and Joe at St. Teresa of Avila in Norristown on Monday, November 8 celebrating this loving and generous couple that impacted so many lives over the years. It is only fitting that they are celebrated together one last time. The visitation will be held at 8:45am to 9:30am followed by a mass at 9:45am. Burial will be private.
