Mary R. Scott-Hentschel

Mary R. Scott-Hentschel, age 91, passed away on November 1, 2025. She was born on September 23, 1934, to the late Patrick Reilly and Elizabeth Ann Reilly (Harkin).

Mary is pre-deceased by her two husbands: John Scott and Robert Hentschel, and brother Phillip Reilly Sr. She is survived by her two daughters; Alexandra Barnett and Elizabeth Mince (Richard); sister, Elizabeth Ann Surdykowski; 2 grandchildren, Kelly Lynn Carlysle (Geoffrey), and John Edward Barnett.

Mary was a member of Norristown Garden Club, Worcester Historical Society and Ladies of the Court SH. She was also a girl scout leader.

She enjoyed many things in life, including gardening, being a seamstress, sewing and knitting, tennis, the beach, and traveling the world.

Mary will be sadly missed, especially for her great smile and laugh.

Family and Friends are invited to a viewing on November 18, 2025, 9:45 am – 10:45 am, followed by a mass at 11:00 am at Visitation BVM Church, 196 N. Trooper Rd, Eagleville, PA 19403. Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery, 2025 Old Gulph Rd, Villanova, Pa 19085.
