Mary Patricia Seese

Mary Patricia (Patsy) Seese, 83, of Jenkintown, PA, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023 while in the company of family, at her residence. Mary was born in Derry City, Northern Ireland on December 4, 1939, a daughter of the late Annie (McSheffrey) and Robert McElhinney. She came to America on May 2, 1962.

Patsy married the love of her life Robert J. Seese on November 9, 1963 at Immaculate Conception Church in Jenkintown and they were married for 60 years.

She continued to be a member of Immaculate Conception Church taking care of the priest albs and linens for over 50 years. She worked at and was the head of circulation at Abington Township Library for 31 years before retiring. Patsy’s most pride and joy was her grandson. She also enjoyed reading, walking, Irish dancing, and dressing up for Halloween. She loved to wear brooch pins and travel back to Ireland to visit with her family.

Patsy is survived by her devoted husband Bob, her loving children Bob Jr. and Sharon Kroll (Shaun), her grandson Declan, sister Margaret and brothers Edward and Gerald and their families.
