Mary Margaret Sumerix

Mary Margaret Sumerix, age 80, of Jenkintown, PA, passed away on Tuesday, July 13th, 2021 peacefully, at Edge Hill Nursing Home in Glenside, PA. Mary was born in Akron, OH on January 12, 1941, a daughter of the late Bernice Evelyn (Hostetter) and William Henry Sumerix. Mary was a member of All Hallows Episcopal Church, Wyncote, PA. She worked as a Regional Coordinator at PNC Bank. Mary was a world traveler and was a long time member of the Wyncote Players. She is survived by her cousins Leslie Lewis (Mel) of Land O Lakes, Florida and Abby Burk of Kennett Square, PA. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Relatives and friends may call from 9-10 AM and are invited to a Religious Service at 10 AM both on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at All Hallows Episcopal Church 262 Bent Rd. (at Greenwood) in Wyncote, PA. Her Interment will follow in All Hallows Episcopal Church, cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Montgomery County SPCA 19 East Ridge Pike Conshohocken, PA 19428.
