Mary Concetta Wagner

Mary Concetta (Carosello) Wagner, 99, of Bridgeport, PA passed away peacefully at Arden Courts of Warminster, PA on March 28, 2023.  She was born and lived in Conshohocken with predeceased parents: Belardino Carosello and Louisa (DeNendo) Carosello. She is also predeceased by her husband, Joseph S. Wagner; daughter, Eileen Wagner (1967); siblings, Thomas Carosello and Angeline Williams.

She is survived by her children,  David J. Wagner (Catherine Hoffman) and Robert J. Wagner (Theresa Pizza); five grandchildren: Timothy Wagner (Nikki), Karen Becker (Dave), Mary Jo Wagner, (Fiance’ Josh), Amanda Wagner (Malachy) and Elizabeth Repic (Tony); ten great-grandchildren: Lexie Repic, Drew Becker, Caleb Repic, Noelle Becker, Shane Repic, Allison Becker, Nuala Egan, Aaron Wagner, Malachy Egan and Emily Wagner; her sister, Anna Boccella; sister-in-law, Verna DeSantis; many nieces and nephews; as well as many other loved ones and friends.

In November of 1946, Mary married Joseph Wagner and they were happily married for 67 years.  Besides being a homemaker, she worked for Stouffers. A fervent Catholic, Mary was a former parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport and a present parishioner of Holy Saviour Church. She was a member of the Mothers’ Club for her children during their school days and also a member of the Upper Merion Senior Citizens Group, where she enjoyed playing cards and bingo. She also enjoyed going to the Atlantic City & Valley Forge Casinos. Two of Mary’s hobbies were collecting Carousel Horses and ceramic and porcelain shoes.

Relatives and friends are invited to Mary's viewing on Friday, March 31, 2023, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m., at Holy Saviour Church, 407 E. Main Street, Norristown, PA. A funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lower Merion Twp., PA.

Mary was passionate about helping others and feeding people and received visits from this service in later years, so in lieu of flowers, donations can be made (and check payable to): Neighborhood Meals on Wheels at P.O. Box 621, King of Prussia, PA 19406.
