Maryanne Leonard

Maryanne (nee Hornberger) Leonard passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 1, 2024 at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She was 53 years old. Maryanne was a resident of Woodlyn, PA and a member of Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church. She received her undergraduate and Advanced Masters degree as a Cardiac Nurse Practitioner from Neumann College. While at Neumann, she was the recipient of the Nurse of Hope Award, which she lived throughout her nursing career.

Born in Chester, PA on May 19, 1971, Maryanne was the daughter of the late Charles and Maureen (nee Wright) Hornberger. She was also the loving wife of Thomas S. Leonard, III for 30 years.

In addition to her husband, Maryanne is survived by her three children, Jessica, Julia, and Thomas IV; her beloved granddaughter, Riley Smith; as well as many extended family members and friends.

Maryanne’s viewing will take place on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 208 Milmont Ave. Folsom, PA 19033 from 9am to 10:45am; with her Funeral Mass beginning at 11:00am. Interment will be private.
