Marybeth (Hayes) Lowe

Mary E. "Marybeth" (nee Hayes) Lowe, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Parkhouse Providence Pointe in Royersford, PA. She was 89. Marybeth was a resident of Audubon, PA. She worked as a carpet exporter/importer for Burlington Industries. She was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Church in Audubon, PA, where she was a member of their Sodality and she was active in the Church Bazaars. Marybeth was an artist and delighted people with her handmade Raggedy Ann dolls.Born in Norristown, PA on October 3, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Francis J. and Anna J. (McCafferty) Hayes. She was the devoted wife of the late John F. Lowe; loving mother of Maureen E. Lowe; beloved sister of Yvonne (nee Hayes) Steinruck and her husband, Howard; also survived by many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Peggy McDermott-Jones and Ann Lacey; and two sisters-in-law, Jane Lowe and Elsie Lowe. Marybeth's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 1260 S. Trooper Road, Audubon, PA on Monday, June 15, 2015 at 10:00 am. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday from 9 to 9:50 am, at the church. Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, East Norriton, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Marybeth's memory may be made to the Parkhouse Providence Point Activity Center, 1600 Black Rock Rd., Royersford, PA 19468.
