Melanie Gay Barkett

Melanie “Grammy” Barkett   Age 73, of New Castle   Grammy went home to be with the Lord on April 9, 2015, surrounded by her loved ones at Season’s Hospice, and now joins her beloved son, Thomas III. She is survived by her daughter, Pam Willis, her grandchildren, Tom, Lindsay, Jordan, Marydithe, Melissa, and Erica Edgerton, and Nick Jenner. She will also be dearly missed by her friends and neighbors, Nancy and Jim. A Celebration of Life will be held at Skyline UMC, 3100 Skyline Dr., Wilmington, on 4/15/15 at noon.
