Michael Joseph Barnosky

Michael Joseph "Mike" Barnosky passed away peacefully on Friday, June 5, 2015 at the Wayne Center in Wayne, PA. He was 72. Mr. Barnosky was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. He worked as an insurance salesman. Mike enjoyed golfing with his friends, snowmobiling, rooting for the Penn State Nittany Lions and Philly Pro sports teams. However, Mike's greatest pleasure was spending time with his family. Born in Norristown, PA on October 22, 1942, he was a son of the late A. Michael and Ida (Chomiak) Barnosky. Surviving is his loving family including his loving companion of 42 years, Kay "Molly" Veramonti; his sister, Anne L. Barnosky; two step-daughters, Shelly (Veramonti) Sheehan and her husband, Bob, and Kimberly (Veramonti) Dodds and her husband, Doug; and four grandchildren: Chelsea and Nora Sheehan, and John and Julian Dodds. He is also survived by two uncles, Robert James and David Dell and thirteen cousins.The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, June 12, 2015 from 6 to 8:00 pm, with a memorial service beginning at 7:30 pm at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA. Interment will be private.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mike's memory to the American Cancer Society, 480 Norristown Rd., Suite 150, Blue Bell, PA 19422.
