Michael Cardone

Michael Cardone passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at his residence in Bridgeport, PA. He was 87. Mr. Cardone was a barber who owned and operated Michael's Barber Shop in Bridgeport for over 40 years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Bridgeport. Michael was well loved by everyone. He loved the Phillies and was very family oriented. He especially enjoyed hosting family get togethers. Michael’s most important people were his wife and daughter.

Born in Castelfranci, Italy on July 14, 1935, he was a son of the late Salvatore and Esterina (Pullo) Cardone; and the husband of the late Santa (Pugliese) Cardone, who died in 2018. Surviving are his loving family including a daughter, Ester Cardone; a brother, Pasquale Cardone and his wife, Sandy; a sister, Elvira Forcellini; God-son, Lorenzo Mancino; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Ugo and Victor Cardone; and 2 sisters, Berardina Marrella and Rita Cardone.

Relatives & friends are invited to Michael’s viewing at the Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, 805 DeKalb St., Bridgeport, PA on Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 9 to 10:30 am. His Funeral Mass will follow at Sacred Heart Church, 120 Jefferson Street, Bridgeport, starting at 11:00 am. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia.
