Michael Homa

Michael Homa passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Towne Manor West in Norristown, PA. He was 73. Mr. Homa was a graduate of Upper Merion High School. He was a client of Developmental Enterprises and worked as a Pharmacy Assistant for the former Mercy Suburban Hospital in Norristown. Michael was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Church in Bridgeport, PA. He enjoyed playing checkers, collecting coins, watching wrestling and being with family and friends. Michael’s favorite thing was going to the shore with his nieces and nephews. Born in Germany on July 5, 1948, he was a son of the late Joseph and Mary (Dmyterczuk) Homa. Surviving is his loving family including a brother, Dr. George R. Homa and his wife, Beth; two sisters, Donna M. Dunlap and her husband, Glenn and Anna King and her husband, Steve; and many other loving family members. Relatives & friends are invited to Michael’s viewing at SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 519 Union Ave., Bridgeport, PA on Thursday, October 14, 2021 from 9 to 9:50 am; with his Divine Liturgy starting at 10:00 am. Interment will be in SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Cemetery in King of Prussia, PA. Memorial contributions may be made in Michael’s memory to SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Church, 519 Union Ave., Bridgeport, PA 19405 and/or Developmental Enterprises, 333 E. Airy St., Norristown, PA 19401.
