Michael C. Imperial, Sr. passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at his residence in Bridgeport, PA. He was 77. Mr. Imperial owned and operated Imperial's Produce Stand in Bridgeport, PA. He also worked part-time for Penske Trucking in King of Prussia, PA. Michael was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA.Mr. Imperial was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving from 1953 to 1955.Born in Bridgeport, PA on May 2, 1933, he was a son of the late Angelo and Julia (Capaldo) Imperial. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 51 years, Dolores M.(Hawthorne) Imperial; a son, Robert A. Imperial of Swedesboro, NJ; four grandchildren: Robert J. and his wife, Kimberly, Michael C. III, Desiree M. and Caroline M.; two great-grandsons, Dominick and Dylan; a brother, Albert J. Imperial and his wife, Violet of Bridgeport, PA; two sisters, Rose Marie Guidici of Jeffersonville, PA and Mary Jo Dickinson of Bridgeport, PA; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael C. Imperial Jr., and a brother, Anthony W. Imperial. Relatives & friends are invited to his Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Friday, May 21, 2010 at 10:30am. His viewing will be Friday morning from 9 to 10:20am, at the church. Interment in Whitemarsh Memorial Park Cemetery, Prospectville, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Michael's memory to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA 19405.
