Michael J. "Mickey" Kuhna passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at the Coatesville VA Medical Center in Coatesville, PA. He was 65. Mr. Kuhna was a resident of King of Prussia, PA and was formerly of Swedesburg, PA. He was an assembly worker at the former Bentley & Harris in Exton, PA. Mickey was a member of the former Our Mother of Sorrows Church and St. Augustine R.C. Church, both in Bridgeport, PA. He was also a member of the VFW Post 7878 in King of Prussia and a social member of the Valley Forge Fire Co. Mickey was an avid hunter and fisherman. Mr. Kuhna was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam Era, serving from 1968 to 1970.Born in Norristown, PA on November 23, 1948, he was a son of the late Stephen and Susan (Hustak) Kuhna. Surviving is his loving family including two brothers, John Kuhna and his wife, Phyllis, of King of Prussia and Stephen Kuhna of Owensboro, KT; five sisters: Dorothy Freed, Florence A. Tomczuk, Anna Marie Lauro and her husband, Joseph, Betty J. Warman and her husband, Lester, all of King of Prussia, PA and Mary Venezia and her husband, Harry, of Norristown, PA; and many other loving family members. Relatives & friends are invited to Mickey's Funeral Mass at Our Mother of Sorrows Worship Site, 421 Coates St., Bridgeport, PA on Monday, August 11, 2014 at 10:30 am. His viewing is Monday from 9 to 10:20 am, at the Worship Site. Interment will be in SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mickey's memory to the VFW Post 7878, 471 E.
