Michael P. Kuneck, Sr.

Michael P. Kuneck, Sr. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at Montgomery Hospital in Norristown, PA. He was 66. Mr. Kuneck was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. He worked as a millwright for the former Alan Wood Steel Co in Conshohocken, PA and as a stationary engineer for Bryn Mawr Hospital. He was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Bridgeport, PA. Michael was a social member of VFW Post 7878 in King of Prussia, PA, a former member of the Swedeland Volunteer Fire Co. and he was an avid sports fan. Born in Norristown, PA on December 11, 1942, he was a son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Roskos) Kuneck. Surviving are his loving family including his wife of 46 years, Andrea M. (Lonchar) Kuneck; a son, Michael P. Kuneck, Jr. and his wife, Jeanette of Sanatoga, PA; two grandsons, Jeffrey and Andrew Kuneck; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Kuneck. Relatives & friends are invited to his Divine Liturgy at SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 519 Union Ave., Bridgeport, PA on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 10:00am. Officiating will be Msgr. Dr. Ronald Popivchak, Pastor. His viewing will be Saturday morning from 8 to 9:30am, at The Bacchi-Courtney Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405.
