Michael "Mike" John Hoff

Michael (Mike) John Hoff, age 64, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 3, 2025. Mike was born in Norristown, PA. on June 23, 1960, to the late Nancy Jane Rittenhouse (nee Fulmer) and William Rowland Hoff. Mike graduated from Methacton High School in 1979, and spent time in the US Marines from 1979-1983

Mike worked at SCI Phoenix from 2007 until his passing. Mike enjoyed many sports including fishing, hunting, NASCAR, Phillies, FLYERS, football and bowling. He had a passion for cooking, spent many years cooking at the Eagleville Hotel and the Woodside Inn. He enjoyed the outdoors specifically gardening, grilling (Mike’s Kitchen) and baking his famous Mike’s Pies, which started from taking orders from his coworkers at Phoenix, Mike was to retire this year and his first job in retirement was to start a pie baking business. Mike also spent countless hours as an active firefighter at Lower Providence Township Volunteer

Fire Company. When he retired from firefighting, he continued to support the fire company through fundraising at LPVFD, especially participating in making the famous firehouse donuts. Mike also spent hours with Lower Frederick Fire Company, especially participating in preparing the famous Manhattan clam chowder for Steak Night, pancake breakfasts and

other events.

Mike always enjoyed hosting holidays with family and had a great time visiting family in Virginia and in recent years his favorite stop was Silverback Distillery in Afton, VA. Mike also began enjoying the beach especially OBX with siblings and then with close friends.

Mike is survived by his wife, Wendy, two children: son, Cody (Cassandra) and daughter, Chelsea; father, William Rowland Hoff and Stepmother, Jeanne; five siblings, Jim (Kathy), Glen (Debbie), Dona, Tim, and Lori; five grandchildren, Christian, Michael, Aiden, Lorie and Declan; and many cherished nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend Mike’s visitation from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Limerick Garden of Memories Chapel, Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA. 19468, followed by a service at 2:30 PM and committal service.
