Michael M. O'Gara

Michael M. O'Gara, 62, of Lansdale, PA passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025, peacefully, at Aventura at Pembrooke Home in West Chester, PA.

Born in Philadelphia on August 30, 1962, Michael was the son of the late Maryanna and Martin Joseph O’Gara. He cherished his childhood in Jenkintown, where he attended Immaculate Conception School and later graduated from Bishop McDevitt High School. Michael went on to earn his degree from LaSalle University and eventually owned his own financial executive recruiting firm.

He found joy in playing golf, cheering on the Phillies and Eagles, and spending summers in Stone Harbor at the beloved family shore house.

Michael is survived by his loving daughters Brianna and Kelsey and their mother Maureen McCaughey-O’Gara, his siblings; Bethanne (Anthony) Dippolito, Joseph (Lynn), Timothy (Sara), Maryanne (Andrew) Brenner and Terrence (Stefanie). Michael is also survived by his aunt Ellen Conway and his closest cousins Anthony Brady, Patricia Brady, Kevin Conway, Bridget Fick, and Keri Casey. He is the dear uncle of Courtney, Taylor, Connor, Jason, Ryan, Sean, Erik, Peter, Meghan, Skylar, Mallory, Luke, Shealyn, Brent, and the late Halley O’Gara and Shane Ziegler.

Relatives and friends are invited to Michael’s visitation Wednesday, August 13, 2025 from 9:00-10:20 AM followed by his funeral mass at 10:30 AM both at Immaculate Conception BVM Church, 602 West Ave, Jenkintown, PA. His interment will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
