Michael F. Petrecz

Michael F. Petrecz passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Montgomery Hospital in Norristown, PA. He was 81. Mr. Petrecz was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. He worked as a manager for the former Profax Gas Corp. in King of Prussia, PA for 32 years, until his retirement in 1977. Michael was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, PA. Born on September 17, 1929, in Norristown, PA, he was a son of the late John C. Sr. and Bertha (Wolfrom) Petrecz. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 58 years, Cecelia C. (Maffei) Petrecz; two daughters, Kathy C. Iuliano and her husband, Tom of King of Prussia, PA and Donna L. Cappelli and her husband, Joe of King of Prussia, PA; four grandchildren: Briana, Thomas, Christopher and Michael and his wife, Alisha; a brother, Joseph Petrecz and his wife, Dolores of W. Conshohocken, PA; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, George and John Jr., and a sister, Mary Biddy. Relatives & friends are invited to his Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Friday, December 17, 2010 at 10:30am. Officiating will be the Rev. Martin T. Cioppi, Pastor. Michael's viewing will be Friday morning from 9 to 10:20am, at the church. Interment in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Michael's memory to Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406.
