Michael H. Smith

Michael H. Smith passed away after a long illness on Thursday, July 22, 2010, surrounded by his loving family at his residence in Norristown, PA. He was 41. Mr. Smith worked as a steel worker for Tube Methods in Bridgeport, PA. He was a US Army veteran of the Persian Gulf War. Michael was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 18, 1968, son of the late Joan (Edwards) Mitchell-Green. He is survived by his wife, Joann C. (Loss) Smith; a son, Gage Michael Smith of Norristown, PA; a step-son, David Topieniak, Jr. of Norristown, PA; four brothers: Harold Mitchell of Orlando, Fl, Wayne Mitchell of Fl, Keith Mitchell of Upper Darby, PA and Nathaniel Smith of Norristown, PA; two sisters, Charlotte Wroton of Philadelphia, PA and Tanya Johnson of Bensalem, PA.Services will be at the Siloam Baptist Church, 1329 Willow St., Norristown, PA 19401 on Tuesday, July 27 at 7:00pm
