Michael J. Vandorick

Michael J. VanDorick, 56, of Abington, PA passed away at his residence on Thursday, July 22, 2021 surrounded by family. He was the loving husband of Sandra (Brunner) VanDorick; devoted father to Andrew (Molly), Marc (fiance Madeline), and Ryan and grandfather to Mason Marie. He was born in Abington, PA on February 27, 1965 to Mary Patricia (Riva) and Michael W. VanDorick and is the dear brother of Denise Pritz (Bill), Bill VanDorick (Janna) and Stefanie Coffey (Ed). He had several nieces, nephews, and extended family. Michael graduated from Jenkintown High School. He achieved a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at Temple University. He was a former member of the Friendship-Bray Chapter of DeMolay, receiving their highest honor. He was employed as a Data Migration Specialist at Pure Storage. Michael enjoyed spending time with his family while watching his favorite Philly sports teams, fishing and boating at the family mountain house or playing computer games. Michael was known for his kindness, generosity, positive attitude, and chocolate chip cookies. He was a big kid at heart and made everyone laugh. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation Friday, July 30th from 10am to 11am and religious service at 11am, both at Calvary Presbyterian Church, 405 Easton Rd., Willow Grove, PA 19090.
