Michele J Van Arman

Michele J. (Carfagno) VanArman passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Markley Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Norristown, PA. She was 75.

Born in Norristown, PA, on June 28, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Frances (Millikiev) and Anthony Charles Carfagno. Michele spent much of her life in the Norristown area and worked as a teacher’s aide in local schools, where she was known for her dedication and sharing her gift of gab.

Michele enjoyed serving as a scorekeeper for her children’s sports teams and appreciated opportunities to get out and explore. She especially enjoyed unplanned day trips to the mountains and various beaches up and down the coast, where she found relaxation in the changing scenery and fresh air. She also valued staying connected with friends and extended family through regular conversations and visits.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas C. VanArman; her daughter, Natalie Johnson (Ben Johnson); her son, Gabriel C. VanArman (Becca Delle); and her grandchildren, Evelyn and Oliver. She is also survived by other relatives and friends who will remember her fondly.

Michele’s family will receive relatives and friends at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, 805 DeKalb St., Bridgeport, PA, on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:50 a.m., with a service beginning at 11:00 a.m.
