Mildred M. (Ruffo) Kane

Mildred Mary (Ruffo) "Chicky" Kane passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2010, surrounded by her loving family at her residence in King of Prussia, PA. Chicky celebrated her 80th birthday on July 16th. She was the matriarch of a large loving family whom she adored. Nothing meant more to her than her children and grandchildren. While her family was her primary focus, she also enjoyed gardening and taking care of her dogs. She was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia. Born in Philadelphia, PA on July 16, 1930, she was a daughter of the late William and Margaret (Madorna) Ruffo. She was the wife of the late Stanley T. Kane, who died in 2004. Surviving is a son, Stanley T. Kane and his wife, Margie; two daughters, Margaret M. Brown and Elizabeth M. Tascione and her husband, Paul; 10 grandchildren: Chris, Beth, Jennifer, Christine, Cindy, Colleen, Lisa, Maureen, Denise and Sharon; a brother, Daniel Ruffo; and a sister, Annabelle DiCamillo. Relatives & friends are invited to her Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 10:30am. Officiating will be the Rev. Martin T. Cioppi, Pastor. Her viewing will be Wednesday morning from 8:00 to 9:45am, at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405. Interment in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Marple Twp., PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Chicky's memory to the Montgomery County SPCA, 19 E. Ridge Pike, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
