Milton C. "Milt" Stratton

Milton C. “Milt” Stratton passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 26, 2016, at Kindred Hospital in Havertown, PA. He was 90. Milt was a resident of King of Prussia, PA and was a member of the former St. Augustine R.C. Church in Bridgeport, PA, where he served as a Lector. Milt was a proud employee of Villanova University, retiring in 1991. He enjoyed watching all sports but especially the Philadelphia teams. Most of all, Milt loved to spend time with his family, especially his adoring grandchildren which were his pride and joy. Born in Philadelphia, PA on July 11, 1926, he was the son of the late Milton and Cora (May) Stratton. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 57 years, Joan B. (Budd) Stratton; a son, Christopher Stratton and his wife, Julie of Lansdale, PA; a daughter, Sharon Clairmont and her husband, Rick of Wayne, PA; 6 grandchildren: Lauren, Ricky, Nick, Michael, Dexy and Scotty; and many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces. Milt’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, 120 Jefferson St., Bridgeport, PA on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 10:00 am. His family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday night, from 6 to 8 pm, at the Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., (Rt. 202) Bridgeport, PA. Inurnment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Milt’s memory to Food for the Poor, P.O.
