Monsignor John J. Miller

Monsignor John J. Miller, Pastor Emeritus of St. Frances Cabrini parish in Fairless Hills, died on Friday, December 1, 2017 at Villa St. Joseph in Darby. He was 80. Born in Upland, PA, Msgr. Miller was in residence at Immaculate Conception parish in Jenkintown. Son of the late Joseph D. and Elizabeth M. (Coonan) Miller and brother of the late Regina M. "Jeanne" Liberato (the late Gabriel), Msgr. Miller is survived by his sister Elizabeth J. "Betty" Leonard (the late Robert E.) and his nieces and nephews, Lydia J. Kunstek, Laureen E. Sobutek (James), William T. Lewis Jr. (Lauri) and Laurence J. Lewis (Lorna) and their families. A memorial mass will be held on Monday, December 4, 2017 at 7pm at Immaculate Conception BVM Church 602 West Ave. Jenkintown, PA 19046. A viewing will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056. Reception of the body will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, 9 a.m. in The Chapel of St. Martin of Tours at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary, 100 E. Wynnewood Rd., Wynewood, PA 19096 where family, friends, clergy and religious may call until his 12 noon funeral Mass. Rite of Committal will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
