Neil Chetan Patel was born in Norristown, PA on November 12, 2000. He was the beloved son of Chetan and Hema Patel. Also surviving are paternal grandparents, Ratilal and Mrudula Patel; maternal grandparents, Bipin and Nalini Patel; aunts and uncles: Nita Patel, Shailesh and Jetal Patel and Ashish Patel; many other loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; and his dogs, Loki & Karma. Neil, aged 20, grew up in King of Prussia, PA. He was Upper Merion Class President of 2019, a Penn State Schreyer Honors College Student, talented drummer, baseball player and loved the performing arts, especially theater. Neil was a shining bright star that was loved by his family, his friends and his whole community. Neil passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021, after fighting a long and unfortunate battle against Covid 19 at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. Please join the family for Neil’s Celebration of Life at Hope Community Church, 150 E. Beidler Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Friday, August 6, 2021. The doors will open at 3:00 pm, with the service starting promptly at 3:15 pm; and the viewing will follow the service. The family will be leaving at 6:45 pm for a private cremation ceremony.
