Nicholas B. Cicippio

Nicholas B. Cicippio, of Norristown, PA, died on Saturday, July 14, 2012, after a brief illness. He was 84. Mr. Cicippio was a graduate of Norristown High School, Class of 1947 and he received a certificate in business from the Taylor School in Philadelphia, PA. He worked as an auditor with PNC Bank, and also worked in the Trust Division and then transferred to the Philadelphia office doing settlements for Industrial Development Corp Loans for over a thousand area companies. This resulted in the creation of jobs for thousands of people thru this process in five states. He retired in 1988. Nicholas and his wife enjoyed going to Penn State Football games for almost 20 years. Mr. Cicippio was inducted into Marine Corps during the Korean War and served with the Third Marine Air Wing out of Florida.Born in Norristown, PA on December 4, 1927, he was the son of the late Camillo and Julia (Albanese) Cicippio. He was the husband of the late Mildred A. (Richardson) Cicippio, who died in 2010. Surviving is his loving family including a son, Stephan P. Cicippio and his wife, Barbara, of Tremont, PA; a daughter, Lisa M. Lehman and her husband, Joel, of E. Norriton, PA; two granddaughters, Allie and Aubrey Lehman; two brothers, Thomas Cicippio and his wife, Frances, of Norristown, PA and Joseph Cicippio and his wife, Ilham, of Washington, DC; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Alexander, Dominic, Anthony, Rose Abal, Helen Fazio and Edith Cavaliere. Relatives & friends are invited to Nicholas' Funeral Service at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 10:30 am. His viewing will be Wednesday morning from 9 to 10:20 am, at the funeral home.
