Nicholas R. Proietto

Nicholas R. “Nick” Proietto passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Phoenixville Hospital in Phoenixville, PA. He was 75. Mr. Proietto was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. He worked as a meat cutter for the former Genuardis Supermarket, now Giant Food Stores, and retired from Whole Foods Markets. Nick was a member of Trinity Church Gulph Mills in King of Prussia, PA. He enjoyed cars, motorcycles, camping, woodworking and puzzles. Nick was very artistic and was a history buff. He was a US Army veteran. Born in Norristown, PA on February 22, 1940, he was a son of the late Nicholas A. Proietto and Mary (Interrante) Kneeland. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 22 years, Sharon (Pascavage) Proietto; 3 daughters: Lisa M. Franklin of Exton, PA, Joelle (Edward) Connors of Doylestown, PA and Genine (Bob Chesky) Proietto of Conshohocken, PA; a step-son, Steven M. (Lindsay) Owad of Lansdale, PA; a step-daughter, Danielle M. (Lars) Hagner of Limerick, PA; 13 grandchildren: Jacob, Marissa, Hannah, Ryan, Erin, Justin, Alexandra, River, Louie, Emily, Carter, Morgan and Hayden; a great-grandson, Giancarlo; a brother, Richard (Alberta) Proietto of Montgomeryville, PA; and 2 nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Robert and Joseph Proietto. Nick will be sadly missed by the Pascavage family: Albert, John, Tom and Debra and their spouses. Relatives and friends are invited to Nick’s Funeral Service at Trinity Church Gulph Mills, 966 Trinity Lane, King of Prussia, PA on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 11:00 am. His viewings are Monday evening from 6 to 8:00 pm; also Tuesday morning from 10 to 10:50 am, both at the church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Nick’s memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675 and/or Trinity Church Gulph Mills, 966 Trinity Lane, King of Prussia, PA 19406.
