Nicholas J. Scelzi

Nicholas J. Scelzi passed away peacefully on Friday, March 29, 2019, at Penn Hospice in West Chester, PA. He was 72. Mr. Scelzi was a resident of Philadelphia, PA. He worked as a Philadelphia Police Officer for 24 years. Nicholas was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam Era. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. Nicholas was born in Philadelphia on April 9, 1946. He was the husband of the late Kathleen Scelzi. Surviving is his loving family including two sons, Nicholas F. Scelzi and his wife, Kylie of Downingtown, PA and John Scelzi of Philadelphia; three grandchildren: Aidan, Layla and Austin, with another grandchild on the way. Relatives and friends are invited to Nicholas’ Funeral Mass at SS. Simon and Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester, PA 19382 on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 11:00 am.
