Nick R. Piergiovanni, age 82 of Audubon, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Italy on June 6, 1944, to the late Pietro and Maria (nee D’Orazio) Piergiovanni. He is also preceded in death by his son, Michael, and his brother, Antonio. Nick is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carmela (nee Sabatini); 2 sons, Peter (Rosemary) and Nick Jr.; 4 grandchildren, Caroline Macolino (Antonio), Nicholas, Michael, and Alexander; and a sister, Giuditta Mancini.

Nick was born in Civitella Messer Raimondo of the Abruzzo region of Italy and immigrated to the United States settling in Ardmore when he was 15 years old. He excelled in academics at Lower Merion HS before graduating with a BS in Mathematics from Villanova University. While completing his studies there, he served honorably in the U.S. Army Reserves for 3 years. He worked in manufacturing enterprises early in his professional career ascending to levels of Plant Manager at places like LaSalle Steel and Y&S Candies. He ultimately started his own company NC Products providing equipment and seasonings in the food industry. Always the proud Italian American, he cherished sharing the bounty from his vegetable garden and his homemade wine, cheese, and sausages with family and friends. As an active person all his life, he had a passion for golf and was competitive in cards, pool, or any game you would dare to challenge him in. His generosity to his community and charitable causes was widespread and impactful but always discreet, as he never sought recognition or the spotlight. He developed many life-long friendships along his journey, and his proudest accomplishment is the loving family that he so cherished and supported.

Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing from 8:45-10:45am on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11am at Visitation BVM Church, 196 N. Trooper Rd., Eagleville, PA. 19403. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
