Nicola "Nick" DeMarco passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, surrounded by his loving family at Mercy Suburban Hospital in E. Norriton, PA. He was 80. Mr. DeMarco was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. He worked as a tailor for the former Jacob Reed's & Sons Uniforms in Norristown, PA and the Valley Forge Military Academy. Nick was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA. Born in Lungro, Providence of Cosenza, Italy on July 1, 1933, he was a son of the late Alberto and Maria Luisa DeMarco. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 48 years, Italia (Mastrocola) DeMarco; two sons, Albert DeMarco and his wife, Sonia, of Broomall, PA and Anthony S. DeMarco and his wife, Debra, of Norristown, PA; two grandsons, Nicholas and Vincent; a sister, Rosina Calvani of Florence, Italy; a step-brother, Riccardo DeMarco and his wife, Giusett, of Livorno, Italy; two step-sisters, Maria DiFenzi and her husband, Emanuele, and Antonella Conti and her husband, Fabio, both of Florence, Italy; and many nephews and nieces. Relatives & friends are invited to Nick's viewing on Friday evening (only viewing) on November 22, 2013 from 6 to 8:00pm at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA on Saturday at 10:00am. Entombment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery Mausoleum, King of Prussia, PA.
