Nora O'Connell

O’Connell Nora, 79, of Jenkintown, PA passed peacefully surrounded by her family on June 1, 2022. Nora was born in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Marie (Bernhardt) and Howard O’Neill. Beloved wife of George R. Loving mother of Kathleen (Dustin Cucinotta), Colleen, Joseph, Honora McDowell (Will), Erin Rochon (David), Timothy (Amanda) and Terence (Meghan). Adored grandmother of Katy, Jacob, Bradley, Anna, Michael, Lucas, Sean, Angela, Samantha, Matthew, Liam, Jason, Maureen and an O’Connell baby girl to be named later. Dear great-grandmother of Dakota. Nora is also survived by her sister Sheila Singer, sisters-in-law Bernadette O’Connell and Jane Welsh (Francis) and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Dennis O’Neill, sisters-in-law Mary O’Connell, RSM and Roberta Burt and brothers-in-law Joseph Singer and John Burt. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Wednesday, June 8th from 6-8 PM at the Joseph J. McGoldrick Funeral Home, 507 West Ave. Jenkintown, PA. A second visitation will be held Thursday, June 9th from 9-11 AM followed by her funeral mass at 11 AM both at Immaculate Conception Church, 602 West Ave. Jenkintown.
