Norman M. Zapotosky

Norman M. Zapotosky, 88, of Bensalem, PA passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, January 23, 2022, one day short of his 89th Birthday. Born in Junedale, PA on January 24, 1933, he was the son of the late Alice (nee Watro) and John Zapotosky. Norman will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 66 years, Dorothy A. Zapotosky, his children Debbie (Jeff) Delp, Thomas (Carol) Zapotosky and Brian (Rosemarie) Zapotosky; grandchildren Amy (Pat) Bergmaier, Andrew Zapotosky, Brittany (Matt) Byrne and Valerie (Joe) Cardosi; and great grandchildren Lily, Ella, Luca and Perla. Outside of spending time with his family, Norman was a true outdoorsman. He loved to hunt and fish and took several trips out west to prospect for gold. His other enjoyment was spending time at the Langhorne Rod and Gun Club where he had been a member since 1982. Norman and his wife Dot loved to travel all over the United States in their motor home and had taken several trips to the UK and various parts of Europe. They also enjoyed their annual family vacation in the Outer Banks with their children and grandchildren. Norman served in the U.S. Air Force and fought in the Korean War. Afterwards, he became a supervisor in the maintenance department at the General Motors plant in Ewing, New Jersey. After retirement, he earned an associate’s degree in Business. Family and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday, January 28, 2022, 9:15-10:15 AM and a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM, both at St. Charles Borromeo, 1731 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA.
