Oscar Edwin Hardy

Oscar Hardy 4/16/31 – 1/8/21 Oscar E. Hardy (Don) 89 went to sleep with Jesus on Jan. 8, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Oscar was a devoted husband to Cleta, a devoted Seventh-Day-Adventist, and a loving and proud father, grandfather, great grandfather and great, great grandfather. He was a DuPont Newport Plant retiree which enabled him to enjoy a long retirement with his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cleta, his parents, Rebecca and Simone Hardy, his son Donald Hardy; son-in-law Terrace Warrington; niece Melanie Coleman; brothers Hubert, Jack, Jim, Ronald and Gene and sisters Louise and Pamela. He is survived by brother Jesse and sister Loretta; Daughter Holly Sorrentino and her husband Mike and her children Tom and Cherish; Daughter Rebecca Hardy and her children Jenny, Artie and Sarah; Daughter Loretta Sutton her husband Jeff and her children Russell, Justin, Travis, Daniel, Autumn and Sam. Daughter Donna Hardy and her children Kyle and Willie. Son David Hardy and his wife Melinda; and his son Donald’s children Donnie, Jeffrey, Nicole and Amelia. And by his 36 great grandchildren and one great, great granddaughter. Services entrusted to Szpindor-Meyers Funeral Home
