Palma Rose (Sandor) Wawrzak passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Blue Bell Place in Blue Bell, PA. She was 84. Mrs. Wawrzak was a former resident of E. Norriton, PA. She was a member of St. Titus Church in E. Norriton, where she was a member of their prayer groups. Palma enjoyed baking and cooking, and playing cards and the slots at the Atlantic City casinos with her sisters. Most of all she loved weekly trips and sleepovers with her two granddaughters. Palma was a good, loving person who instilled traditional family values in her granddaughters. Born in Bridgeport, PA on April 9, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Antoinette (Roberto) Sandor. She was the wife of the late John J. Wawrzak, Sr., who died in 1998. Surviving is her loving family including a son, John Wawrzak and daughter-in-law, Kimberly; two granddaughters, Laura and Kelli Wawrzak; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Antonio Del Bene; four brothers: Joseph “Peppy” Sandor, Samuel Sandor, Charles Sandor and Anthony Sandor, Jr.; and four sisters: Rose Imperial, Mary Romberger, Margaret "Sally" Monaco and Annie Gambone. Palma’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Titus Church, 3006 Keenwood Rd., E. Norriton, PA on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 11:00 am. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 10 to 10:50 am, at the church. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Palma’s memory to St. Titus Church, 3006 Keenwood Rd., E. Norriton, PA 19403.
