Patricia A. Deck

Patricia Anne Deck, 79, of Willow Grove, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 15, 2025, after a long battle with cancer. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Pat was the daughter of Glen and Eleanor Dreibelbis. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, whose creativity and intelligence left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

After graduating from Wilson College, Pat taught English at Upper Dublin High School then took a position at Prudential in Dresher. She later paused her working career to raise her 2 children, Andy and Kate. After returning to Prudential, she moved to Reliance Insurance in Philadelphia retiring as the Group Insurance Contract Manager.

Known for her creativity, Pat was a skilled quilter, Christmas figurine painter, and crafter. An adventurous cook, she was known for her scratch-based meals, ethnic foods, and baking skills such as artisan bread making. Her passion for literature was lifelong with her love for cats and dogs was evident in every part of her life.

Pat is survived by her loving husband, Rodney M. Deck; her children Andy Deck (Jamie) and Kate Ojeda; and sister Susan Grasso McDannell. She was also a proud grandmother to Annabelle, Ian, Madeline, Alma, Owen, Sophia, and Elias.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 22nd at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 120 N. Easton Rd., Glenside, PA. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM.

As a tribute to Pat’s vibrant spirit, the family kindly asks guests to wear bright colors and cheerful patterns to the service.
