Patricia M. Lawless

Patricia M. (Shields) Lawless passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 30, 2011, surrounded by her loving family at Montgomery Hospital in Norristown, PA. She was 75. Pat was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. She was a member of St. Augustine R.C. Church in Bridgeport, PA. Pat loved gardening and was an avid animal lover.Born in Poughkeepsie, NY on July 13, 1935, she was a daughter of the late William and Viola M. (McPeek) Shields. She was the wife of the late James J. Lawless, Jr., who died in 2003. Surviving is her loving family including three daughters: Deborah A. Stiles and her husband, Stephen C. of King of Prussia, PA, Theresa M. Medunic of Stowe, PA and Patricia A. Moll and her husband, Andrew E. Jr. of Pottstown, PA; seven grandchildren: Jamie, Brian, Alicia, Keith, Sodonia, Amanda and AJ; two great-grandchildren, Jeremy and Adrianna; a sister, Alice Szlepcsik and her husband, Hank of E. Farmingdale, NY; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Preston.Pat's Funeral Service will be held at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., (Rt. 202) Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 3:00pm. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday afternoon from 2 to 2:50pm, at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the request of the family.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Pat's memory to Montgomery Hospital Hospice, 25 W. Fornance St., Norristown, PA 19401.
