Patricia Moore, 67, of Mechanicsburg, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 11th, at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. Born on February 6, 1958, in Philadelphia, PA, she was the beloved daughter of the late Marie (Figiel) and Richard Heaney.
Patricia dedicated her life to caring for others, both as a devoted mother and a compassionate nurse. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and proudly served as a labor and delivery nurse at Holy Redeemer Hospital in Meadowbrook, PA, for over 20 years. Her kindness, skill, and unwavering commitment to her patients touched countless lives.
Outside of her career, Patricia found joy in creativity and cherished traditions. She was an avid crocheter, needlepointer, and more recently, a lover of diamond art. She adored reading, watching Hallmark movies, and spending time with family. Her heart belonged to the annual trips to the Outer Banks, NC, and family gatherings in the Poconos, where she created memories filled with laughter and love.
Patricia is survived by her cherished children: Brian Moore (Alicia Moore), Nicole Bedekovich (Jay Bedekovich), Kimberly Bucsok (Eric Bucsok), James Moore (Kimberly Moore), and Amy Dietsche (Jim Dietsche). She was the proud and adoring grandmother of Brody Bedekovich, Cecelia Moore, Conner Moore, Lincoln Dietsche, and Reagan Dietsche. Patricia is also survived by her loving siblings: Robert Heaney (Donna Heaney), Eileen Kelly (Dennis Kelly), and Karen Guiley (Scott Guiley).
Patricia will be remembered as a loving mother, doting grandmother, and devoted nurse whose life was a testament to the power of care, creativity, and connection. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Family and friends are welcome to attend Patricia’s visitation on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at St. Ephrem’s Catholic Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA 19020 followed by her funeral mass starting at 11:00 am. Her final resting place will be at Resurrection Cemetery Bensalem, PA.
