Patricia Carol Morgan

Patricia Carol (Hurst) Morgan passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at the Mifflin Center in Shillington, PA. She was 87. Mrs. Morgan was a long time resident of King of Prussia, PA. She worked as a clerk in the Catalog Department of the J.C. Penney Store in the King of Prussia Plaza for over 30 years. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. Patricia was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, King of Prussia. Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on December 31, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Curtis Amazon Hurst and Evelyn C. (Forsberg) Hurst; and the husband of the late Joseph Frank Morgan, who died in October of 2020. Surviving is her loving family including a son, Patrick “Rick” Morgan and his wife, Denise; 3 daughters: Jody Cannon, Carol Kraft and her husband, James, and Barbara Rathgeber and her husband, David; 8 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren with another on the way. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Miller; and a brother, Ronald Hurst. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 132 E. Valley Forge Rd., King of Prussia on Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 10:30 to 11:00 am; her Funeral Service will start at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Patricia’s memory to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 132 E. Valley Forge Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406.
