Patricia A. Wardlow

Patricia Anne (Pat) Wardlow, 72, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away at her residence surrounded by family on Friday, October 13, 2023 after a brave battle with cancer. Pat was born in Pensacola, FL on August 21, 1951, a daughter of the late Lorraine M. (Dacey) and Edward P. Lafferty. She was the devoted wife of Robert J. Wardlow, Sr., loving mother of Jennifer Rodrigo (Paul), Robert Wardlow, Jr., and Matthew Wardlow (Tracee). Adored grandmother to Lindsay (Will), Juliana, Dylan, Benjamin, Emily, Colin, William, Charles, Ella and Bridget. Pat will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by countless friends who were her chosen family.

Pat was a dedicated employee for the U.S. Navy personnel for over 25 years working primarily out of the Oxford Circle depot.

Pat was well-known for her rebellious nature. She identified herself amongst the Disney villains despite truly having a heart of sterling silver. Up until her final days, Pat was a dedicated Philadelphia sports fan, cheering on the Phillies, Eagles, and Sixers. Pat was a fierce competitor, whether it be on the basketball and volleyball court or defending the goal on the soccer field. She was a collector of silver, sunshine and adventure. A self-proclaimed beach bum, Pat loved spending her summers at the campground surrounded by her “grands” and loyally shadowed by her treasured Boston Terrier, Rubble.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Thursday, October 19, 2023 from 8:30-9:45 AM at Presentation BVM Church, 100 Old Soldiers Rd. Cheltenham. PA. Her funeral mass will follow at 10 AM. Her interment will be held in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
