Patrick J. 'Bibbs' Bibbo

Patrick Joseph "Bibbs" Bibbo, Jr. passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at North Shore at Florida Medical Center in Lauderdale Lakes, FL. He was 65. Pat was born and raised in the King of Prussia, PA area and lived there until 2006, when he moved to Coral Springs, FL to be closer to family. He was an owner/operator of multiple coin operated businesses in the Philadelphia area, including Valley Forge Vending Inc. Pat was an avid golfer, with one of his proudest moments occurring in 1999, when he and his son won the Golf Association of Philadelphia's Father and Son tournament. According to him, Pat carried the team to victory. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and diving, a horse racing aficionado and generally relished any opportunity to place a friendly wager. While Pat loved all sports, he was the consummate fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and the Penn State Nittany Lions. His baseball cap of choice demonstrated that fact daily. Born in Norristown, PA on August 21, 1949, he was the son of the late Patrick J. Sr. and Christine (Differ) Bibbo. Pat is survived by his loving family including his son, Ryan Patrick Bibbo; daughter-in-law Amanda; two grandchildren, Evan and Caroline; his sister, Karen Bibbo; and countless family and friends, the majority who received a special nickname from Pat. Pat never met a stranger and could turn the mundane into a party with his mere presence. Everyone who met him has a "Bibbs" story that makes them smile. He will be missed on the golf course, at the horse track, and at 5pm anywhere. The family will receive relatives & friends at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Monday, July 13, 2015 from 10 to 10:50 am. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will follow the service in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.
