Paul Hayko passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Season's Hospice in Phoenixville, PA. He was 89. Mr. Hayko was a resident of Parkhouse in Royersford, PA. He previously lived in King of Prussia, PA. He worked as a sales person for Pepperidge Farm. He was an avid bowler and loved the Phillies. Paul was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Bridgeport, PA. Born in Exeter, PA on July 22, 1925, he was a son of the late John and Mary (Drobb) Hayko. He was the husband of the late Madeline (Bonchonsky) Hayko, who died in 2012. Surviving is his loving family including a son, David G. Hayko and his companion, Diane Crouch, of Omaha, NE; a daughter, Paulea M. Hayko of Battle Creek, MI; five grandchildren: Doug, Dawnielle, Ryan, Aaron & Greg; 7 great-grandchildren: Madeline, Joslyn, Sophia, Paige, Kayla, Zera and Hector; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by many brothers and sisters. Paul's Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 519 Union Ave., Bridgeport, PA on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 10:30 am. Officiating will be Msgr. Dr. Ronald Popivchak, Pastor. The family will receive relatives & friends on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:20 am, at the church. Interment will be private in Pittston, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Paul's memory to your favorite charity.Arrangements are by The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., Bridgeport, PA.www.bacchifuneralhome.com
