Paul Hayko

Paul Hayko passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Season's Hospice in Phoenixville, PA. He was 89. Mr. Hayko was a resident of Parkhouse in Royersford, PA. He previously lived in King of Prussia, PA. He worked as a sales person for Pepperidge Farm. He was an avid bowler and loved the Phillies. Paul was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Bridgeport, PA. Born in Exeter, PA on July 22, 1925, he was a son of the late John and Mary (Drobb) Hayko. He was the husband of the late Madeline (Bonchonsky) Hayko, who died in 2012. Surviving is his loving family including a son, David G. Hayko and his companion, Diane Crouch, of Omaha, NE; a daughter, Paulea M. Hayko of Battle Creek, MI; five grandchildren: Doug, Dawnielle, Ryan, Aaron & Greg; 7 great-grandchildren: Madeline, Joslyn, Sophia, Paige, Kayla, Zera and Hector; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by many brothers and sisters. Paul's Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at SS. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 519 Union Ave., Bridgeport, PA on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 10:30 am. Officiating will be Msgr. Dr. Ronald Popivchak, Pastor. The family will receive relatives & friends on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:20 am, at the church.
