Paul C. Herrmann passed away peacefully on Monday, May 28, 2018 at Brandywine Senior Living at Upper Providence in Phoenixville, PA. He was 84. Mr. Herrmann was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. He worked as a Safety Engineer for the Mather Insurance Co. Paul was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in King of Prussia, the Upper Merion Senior Center and a lifelong member of G.T.V. Almrausch. He enjoyed gardening, making wine, and woodworking. He loved baking and cake decorating and made the wedding cakes for his daughters. He also made creative cakes for various celebrations over the years. Many people eagerly awaited his fastnachs every year. Paul selflessly was the caregiver for his wife, Ruth. He was a US Army veteran. Born in Philadelphia, PA on February 16, 1934, he was a son of the late Otto and Bertha (Pfeiffer) Herrmann. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 28 years, Ruth P. Herrmann; a son, O. Karl (Renate) Herrmann of Trooper, PA; three daughters: Karen (Mark) Murray of Collegeville, PA, Heidi (Chad) Sherman of Perkiomenville, PA and Kristine (Gino) DeLuca of Derwood, MD; eight grandchildren: Pamela, Bethany, Stacey, Norman, Rebecca, Andrea, Elizabeth and Leonardo; and two nephews, Henry and Carl Herrmann. He was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Herrmann and his wife, Alberta. Relatives & friends are invited to Paul’s Funeral Service at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 132 E. Valley Forge Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 1:00 pm. His viewing is Saturday from 11 to 12:50 pm, at the church. Interment will be private at the request of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in Paul’s memory to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 132 E. Valley Forge Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406.
