Paul Pancio Jr. of Audubon, PA, born December 21, 1928, in Olean, New York passed away peacefully at his home on May 10, 2021, surrounded by family. Survived by his beloved wife of sixty-nine years Elise (nee Dean). Loving father of Linda (Ned) Wilmarth of Whitney, TX, Joyce (Wayne) John of Southport, NC, Sharon Pancio of Richmond, CA, Bruce (Linda) Pancio of Worcester, PA, Mark Pancio of Sacramento, CA, and Terrie (Shari) Pancio of Perkasie, PA. Adoring grandfather of Derek, Amy, Drew, Lauren, James, Danielle, Misha, Simone, and Logan and great-grandchildren Jackson, Grace, Grayson, Noah, Lucas, and Juniper. Paul was a graduate of the class of 1950 of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and received a B.S. in Architectural Engineering. Thereafter, he served two years in the United States Army where he was stationed in Fort Knox, KY. Following his time in the army, Paul and his wife, Elise, moved to Texas where they started their family. During Paul’s career he worked for Gulf Oil, where he played an integral role in designing the Colonial Pipeline. Later in his career, Paul worked for General Electric in New York as a computer programmer. In 1968, Paul was transferred to Pennsylvania to work for GE in their Valley Forge Space Center and his family settled in Audubon, PA. Paul was an avid reader, collector of Hess trucks, Notre Dame sports enthusiast, jack of all trades, chocolate lover, and loyal fan of Neil Diamond. Paul enjoyed traveling and was able to visit 49 states with his wife over the years. Paul loved spending time with his family at every opportunity. He will be remembered for his quick wit and infectious smile. He will be missed dearly. Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing from 8:15 to 9:15 am on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Szpindor-Meyers Funeral Home, 101 N. Park Ave., Eagleville, Pa (Rt. 363 Trooper). A Funeral Mass will follow at 10 am at St. Teresa of Avila, 1260 S. Trooper Rd., Norristown, Pa 19403. Interment will be held at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia, Pa. In lieu of flowers contributions in Paul’s name may be made to Saint Theresa of Avila Church.
