Paul
Sabatino
Jun 24, 1965 — Jun 17, 2026
Paul Thomas Sabatino, 60, of Bensalem, Pennsylvania, passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.
He was born in Philadelphia on June 24, 1965, to the late Daniel Michael Sabatino, Sr. and Elizabeth Louise (Finnegan) Sabatino.
Paul is survived by his beloved Laura Gable; sister-in-law, Dee; sister, Lisa (Dan); brother, Thomas; and many nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is also survived by his lifelong friend, Joe Murray, who along with the rest of the Murray family considered Paul one of their own. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Bette Lou, and his beloved brother, Daniel Jr.
Paul graduated from Assumption B.V.M. in 1979, Archbishop Wood in 1983, and the CHI Institute. He went on to build a career as a machinist, taking great pride and craftsmanship in his work.
Paul adored his pets, often joking that he liked his dogs more than he liked most people, and he was beloved for his sarcasm and sense of humor. He was a devoted fan of classic rock — Bob Dylan and the Band above all — and he loved seeing live music, from the Moody Blues and CSN(and sometimes Y) to Billy Joel and Neil Diamond. He wasn't much of a dancer, except for when the B-52s’ "Rock Lobster" and "Love Shack" came on. Once he found a show he loved, he would watch it over and over, with Cheers and M*A*S*H among his favorites. He was also known for the trout-print tie he wore to every major family event, and for his enthusiasm for hunting, even though he is believed to have bagged only one deer in all his years of trying.
Growing up, Paul loved dirt bikes and quads, watching The Brady Bunch, and playing and watching tennis. One of his proudest memories was winning the 105-lb. football championship for Lower South at age 13 — a victory made even sweeter because his father was one of his coaches. It was a memory he carried with him his whole life.
Paul will be deeply missed by his family and friends, and by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Funeral services will be announced at a later time at the family's request.
Condolences and remembrances may be shared on Paul's tribute wall at www.hmgfh.com.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hoffmann Meyers Givnish Funeral Home.
