Paul Francis Snyder

Paul Francis Snyder passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at ManorCare Health Services in King of Prussia, PA. He was 87. Paul was a resident of King of Prussia. He worked as a math teacher for the Colonial School District and a guidance counselor for the Upper Merion School District. Paul was a 32nd Degree Mason in Lehigh Valley. He served in the US Army with the adjutant general's office as part of the occupation forces in Japan following World War II. Born in Sunbury, PA on April 18, 1927, he was a son of the late Francis C. and Sadie (Paul) Snyder. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 67 years, Shirley (Rogers) Snyder; a son, Terry L. Snyder and his wife, Anna Marie, of Lancester, PA; a grandson, Paul R. Snyder; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Charles, Warren and Elwood; and 4 sisters: Edna, Marion, Vera and Pauline. Paul's Memorial Service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1190 Valley Forge Rd., Fairview Village, PA 19403 on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 11:00 am. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday from 10 to 10:50 am, at the church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Paul's memory to Trinity Lutheran Church, 1190 Valley Forge Rd., PO Box 340, Fairview Village, PA 19409.
