Pearl N. (Snyder) Phillips

Pearl N. (Snyder) Phillips passed away peacefully at her residence in Lower Providence Twp., PA, on Friday, September 19, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. She was 82. Pearl worked for the former Tyson Shirt Company in Norristown, PA and the former K-Mart in Eagleville, PA. She was a social member of the Bridgeport Fire Company No 1. Pearl was born in Pitman, NJ on January 11, 1932, a daughter of the late William and Anna Mae (Acker) Snyder. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cornelius A. "Corny" Phillips, who died in 2007. Pearl is survived by her loving family including 2 sons, James G. Bontcue, Jr. of Collegeville, PA and Robert J. Bontcue of E. Norriton, PA; 3 daughters: Dorothy E. Clementi of Blue Bell, PA, Janet A. Bontcue of Spring City, PA and Joan B. (Ronald) Riggin of W. Norriton, PA; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Catherine Moore of Lakeland, FL; and many other loving family members. Pearl was also preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce C. Thompson and a grandson, Ronald T. Riggin.Relatives and friends are invited to Pearl's Funeral Service at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Route 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at 10:30am. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Jeffersonville, PA. Pearl's viewing will be Wednesday morning from 9 to 10:20am, at the Funeral Home.
