Pellegrino "Reno" C. Salomone

Pellegrino “Reno” C. Salomone passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at Einstein Montgomery Hospital in East Norriton, PA. He was 88. Reno was a resident of King of Prussia, PA and a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church for over 50 years.

Born on September 29, 1936, in the Province of Benevento, Italy, he was a son of the late Michael and Teresa (DiCicco) Salomone. After meeting his beloved wife, Wilma, in Italy after years of being pen pals, they married, and he came to America in 1959.

Reno had a passion for his work. He was the proud owner of Reno’s Hairstyling and serviced King of Prussia and the Main Line for over 34 years, working until age 85. Besides his profession, his hobbies included bocce, hunting, fishing, and soccer. He was a member of the Holy Saviour Italian Club. Mainly he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather

Surviving is his loving wife of 66 years, Wilma (Fuschetto) Salomone; 2 daughters, Teresa Salomone and Regina M. Gries (Richard); 2 grandchildren, Damiano and Mercedes; a great granddaughter, Milan Tucker; a brother, Victor Salomone (Ingrid) of Germany; and many other loving family members.

He is preceded in death by 3 sisters: Filomena Mancini, Annamarie Pietronigro,

and Yolanda Delaney; and one brother, Rocco Salomone.

Relatives and friends are invited to Reno’s viewing at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd. King of Prussia, PA on Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 9:30am to 10:45am, with his Funeral Mass starting at 11am. Words of Remembrance will begin at 10:50am. Entombment will be held at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in E. Norriton, PA.
