Penrose E. 'Penny' Hall

March 23, 1946 — September 17, 2015

Penrose E. “Penny” Hall passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Seasons Hospice in Phoenixville, PA. He was 69. Mr. Hall was a resident of Jeffersonville, PA. He was a graduate of the former Bridgeport High School and a US Army veteran of the Vietnam Era, serving with the 4th Infantry, 3rd Brigade. He was a warehouse worker for Fleming Markets for 30 years. Penrose was a member of the Norriton Presbyterian Church of Fairview Village, Warren Lodge #310, F&AM in Collegeville, Norristown Royal Arch #190, Allentown Consistory, and a life member of the VFW. He enjoyed golf, cruises and bus trips, and he was an Eagles and Phillies fan. Most of all, Penny loved spending time with his family and friends. Born in Norristown, PA on March 23, 1946, he was a son of the late Alexander and Florence (Thomas) Hall. Surviving is his loving family including his wife, Grace V. (Rogers) Hall; a son, Frank Fogel of Plymouth Meeting, PA; two daughters, Darlene Fogel of Roslyn, PA and Christine (Christopher) Spinelli of Audubon, PA; four grandchildren: Joseph and Robert Fleming and Emma and Dominic Spinelli; a brother, Alexander (Mary) Hall of Fairview Village, PA; a nephew, Alexander (Wendy) Hall; a niece, Rebecca (Michael) Fasanella; and a grand-niece, Breanna Fasanella. Relatives and friends are invited to Penrose’s Funeral Service at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 10:00 am. His viewings will be Tuesday evening from 6 to 8:00 pm, and Wednesday morning from 9 to 9:50 am, both at the funeral home. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, West Norriton, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Penrose’s memory to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, 2600 Virginia Ave. NW, Suite 104, Washington, DC 20037.
