Peter Reynolds 72, formerly of Philadelphia, passed peacefully on May 5, 2017. Peter was the beloved husband for 49 years of the late Marilyn D. (nee Drach). Loving father of Mark (June), Thomas (Joanna), Lisa Rodgers (Edward) and the late Peter J. (survived by Beverly). Devoted Grandfather of Alex, Noelle, Eddie, Julia, Caroline, Quinn, and Adelaide. Pete served honorably in the Army in Quy Nhon, Vietnam in 1968. After returning home, he became a member and later served as Commander of VFW Post 2819. He also tended bar there for many years. Pete spent his working career as a truck driver for Universal Foods and for Nabisco. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, Marilyn, especially to Las Vegas and to Long Beach Island. “Pop-Pop” loved spending time with all of his grandchildren, and his two dogs, Rosie and Madison. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on May 13, 2017 at 10 a.m. at St. William Church, 6200 Rising Sun Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19111. A visitation with family present will be 9-9:50 a.m. at St. William’s. Interment in Washington Crossing National Cemetery will be private at the convenience of the family.
