Peter Howard Van Duyne

Peter Howard Van Duyne of East Norriton passed away peacefully at home on July 19, 2023. He was born in Philadelphia on September 26, 1938 to the late Howard and Ida (nee Gardy) Van Duyne. His beloved wife, Rita M. (nee Vilitski), also preceded him in death. Peter attended Northeast High School, served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a 60-year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Peter was a long-time resident of Avalon Manor, NJ.

Peter is survived by three children, Peter W. (Regina), Steven H. (Dana) and Julianna G. Van Duyne-King (Damon); six grandchildren, Nicholas, Brooke, Peter M., Breanna, Rita and Christopher, and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Monday, July 24, 2023 from 9:45 to 10:45 am followed by a Funeral Mass 11 am at Visitation BVM Church, 196 N. Trooper Rd., Norristown, PA 19403. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.

In lieu of flowers contributions in Peter’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
